Medium Boro Courier Bag BM049
A courier bag using a ‘Boro’ inspired patchwork of vintage Japanese handprinted katazome cloths from the Kyoto region, katazome, kazuri and shima handwoven cloths from the Nagoya and Osaka regions, and with a Maekake tape bound top edge and a base made from military surplus tent canvas.. It has a heavy calico lining with an inside utility pocket and accessory loops, and a 11oz denim flap facing.
This bag has 25mm vegetable tanned split cowhide leather straps, and strap and loop closure all with copper rivets. Solid cast brass buckle. Brass 5¥ coin on strap.
size aprox 15” x 15” x 3”, with 43” adjustable strap ( 47-40”)
All cloth is 100% cotton.
Leather is vegetable tanned cowhide split.
All rivets are two piece solid copper, hammered.
