A tote bag using a ‘Boro’ inspired patchwork of vintage Japanese handwoven Shima and Kasuri cloths from the Nagoya region with an indigo jute herringbone tape bound top edge and a base made from military surplus tent canvas.. It has a heavy calico lining with an inside utility pocket and accessory loops This bag has 25mm vegetable tanned split cowhide leather straps with copper rivets. Brass 5¥ coin on strap.


Bag measures 15”x16”x3” ( 38x41x10cm )

straps are 30” long ( 76cm )

all cloth is 100% cotton.
