A cross body bag using a ‘Boro’ patchwork of vintage Japanese handwoven Shima and Kasuri cloths from the Nagoya region with a Maekake tape bound top edge and a base made from military surplus tent canvas. It has a heavy calico lining with an inside utility pocket and accessory loops This bag has a 25mm vegetable tanned split cowhide leather strap and a strap and loop closure , with a hand forged solid copper buckle and copper rivets.
Brass 5¥ coin on strap.
Bag measures 13” x 13” X 3’ ( 33x 3x 7.5cm )
Main strap is adjustable from 41” to 49” (104 to 125cm )
All cloth is 100% cotton.
Leather is vegetable tanned cowhide split.
