A tote bag using a ‘Boro’ inspired patchwork of vintage Japanese handwoven Shima and Kasuri, Katazome cloths from the Nagoya region, hand sashiko stitching, and with a Maekake tape bound top edge . It has a base made from military surplus tent canvas and a heavy calico lining with an inside utility pocket and accessory loops. This bag has 25mm vegetable tanned split cowhide leather straps with copper rivets. Brass 5¥ coin on strap.

Bag measures 15”x16”x3” ( 38x41x10cm )

Straps are 30” long ( 76cm )

All cloth is 100% cotton.

Leather is vegetable tanned cowhide split.

All rivets are two piece solid copper, hammered.
